Eryn Ryan is the Founder and Principal Agent of The Ryan Agency, bringing a decade of experience in insurance and financial services to the clients and communities she serves. As a Trusted Risk Advisor™, Eryn takes a comprehensive, relationship-driven approach to insurance, helping individuals, families, farmers, and business owners understand their risks and protect what matters most.
Growing up on a family farm in Southern Vermont gave Eryn an early understanding of the unique relationship between a family, a business, and the assets they've worked hard to build. Her professional background also includes years of hands-on business management experience, including managing a large landscaping operation, where she gained firsthand insight into the realities business owners face—from employees, equipment, and vehicles to contracts, seasonal operations, financial decisions, and the everyday demands of keeping a business moving.
Before founding The Ryan Agency, Eryn worked for a Registered Investment Advisory firm, adding a financial-services perspective to her background in agriculture and business management. Those experiences continue to shape her work today, particularly with farm and agribusiness clients, equine operations, contractors, landscapers, tradespeople, and other business owners.
Eryn's practice also includes personal insurance, life insurance, annuities, and broader risk-management planning. This breadth allows her to look beyond an individual policy, understand how the different pieces of a client's personal and business life fit together, and build a comprehensive protection strategy around the bigger picture.
Eryn earned her bachelor's degree in Business Management from Castleton University. She lives in Londonderry, Vermont, with her family. Outside the office, you'll most often find her on the sidelines of her children's sporting events, skiing at one of Vermont's local mountains, enjoying a round of golf, or supporting organizations and causes in her community.
Eryn is licensed in Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and New York.
